Job Description

Are you a seasoned leader of national account relationships who is ready to lead a fast-moving omnichannel ad-tech company? eComSystems has the role for you! For more than 25 years, eComSystems (eCom) has served major retail chains, independent retailers, and national wholesalers within channels such as grocery, hardware, natural foods, pharmacy, and sporting goods, to provide omnichannel technology on a national scale with localized customization. eCom's patented platforms provide solutions for well-known national wholesalers and retailers to improve sales, enhance digital marketing capabilities, increase process efficiencies, and reduce costs. The National Account Executive will be responsible for leading and managing assigned corporate accounts ensuring strong client relationships, customer satisfaction, sales, profitability and operational goals are achieved.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and develop client relationships to strengthen and expand opportunities to further serve each account. Understand each account, their business objectives, the need we serve, and the overall vertical market to identify opportunities to create solutions. Develop, direct, and execute annual strategic plan for each account and manage expense and revenue budget accordingly. Manage assigned account(s) points of contact, ensuring annual goals, growth, production, pricing, products and overall objective of each client relationship is achieved. Identify areas for expansion, increase growth, sales and profitability. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate and eliminate risk. Collaborate with internal teams including support services, development, sales, creative services, and quality assurance departments to ensure all are properly working together. Travel for on-site client meetings, training, product launches, discovery, trade shows, and other in-person client support meetings when necessary. Qualifications:
At least two years of regional or national account management experience required, 5+ years preferred. Experience managing cross-functional relationships with large clients ensuring client satisfaction and objective achievement. Prior experience working for a software or tech company preferred. Previous experience working with retail end users, especially grocery/hardware/natural foods Bachelor's degree in business (management or marketing) preferred. Career path should demonstrate a successful history of implementing and executing sales and marketing strategies, including onboarding and launching of new clients. Above average project management skills required including oversight of technical applications. Must be able to manage multiple accounts concurrently with coordinating responsibilities between multiple internal departments. Strong computer skills (CRM, database systems, Microsoft stack: Office, Outlook, Word, Excel) and broad understanding of online platforms and apps. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Team player who is able to roll up their sleeves and collaborate with teams at all levels.
