About Us:

At Preferred Electric, we are a leading provider of electrical contracting services, specializing in delivering innovative, efficient, and high-quality electrical solutions for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful execution of complex electrical projects from conception to completion.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Account Executive with 3-5 years of experience to manage and oversee electrical projects within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of electrical systems, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electrical projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and safety. Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, and manage resources to meet project goals. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment. Review and approve electrical design plans, specifications, and work proposals. Oversee project execution, managing timelines, quality control, and any issues that arise. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. Some out-of-state travel may be required. Prepare and present project status reports, cost tracking, and performance metrics to senior management and clients. Ensure adherence to all local electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record in small or large-scale projects. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, design, and installation. Strong proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Accubid, MS Office). Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus. Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.

Benefits & Compensation:

Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000-$120,000. Additionally, there are performance bonuses that are part of our Account Executive Quarterly Bonus Program.
