Chicagoland Area Overview The Account Executive is a people-first, results-driven role created to help us expand and strengthen our presence in the construction industry —specifically Chicago's Union Labor market . You'll be the face of the client, building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and helping convert prospective leads into active clients. Working closely with our Director of Operations and the Operations Coordinator , you'll manage communication, drive bid activity, and support smooth execution for client requests. Required Skills Strong, personable communication skills (clear and timely client outreach is essential) Proven ability to drive new business and maintain regular contact with former clients for new opportunities Experience tracking opportunities, points of contact, and sales/bid activity (including logging details accurately) Proficiency managing activity and bid visibility in tools such as Building Connected (and other bid sites as needed) Ability to conduct site visits and stop-ins to trailers to introduce and distribute marketing materials Capability to manage full account ownership in bid platforms and maintain active responses to bid invitations Comfort supporting bid and pricing workflow, including kickoff communications (company overview, bill rates, meeting/conference call coordination) Ability to ask relevant questions during the bid process (e.g., project timing, daily hours required, bid/bond info, and other job specifics) Detail-oriented data entry and documentation for bidding (including maintaining bidding spreadsheets and tracking key project details) Ability to produce project estimating takeoffs and prepare proposals Willingness to attend weekly internal meetings and present project progression and profitability discussions Nice to Have Skills Experience supporting or coordinating client work order requests from intake through execution Familiarity with union labor services and/or the construction bidding lifecycle Experience with bid takeoffs, bid takeoff management, and proactive bid invitation response Background working closely with operations teams to support client delivery and ongoing relationships Other Requirements Reports to Director of Operations and works closely with the Operations Coordinator Evening availability may be required from time to time Must be able to support ongoing communication with potential clients and internal teams Involves scheduling mobilization/demobilization coordination and handling supply/equipment rental documentation and cost reporting for spend tracking If you're ready to help grow your presence in Chicago's Union Labor industry, apply today and bring your drive, communication, and bid-focused mindset to a team built around delivering standout service.
