Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the team, ensuring the accuracy of policy updates, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, and contributing to the growth of the commercial insurance portfolio.Key Responsibilities:
Policy Management:
Accurately input policy updates and account information.Client Communication:
Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage-related inquiries.Marketing & Quoting:
Lead the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals.Renewal Management:
Identify, compile, and oversee information regarding account renewals.Effective Communication:
Maintain consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives.Business Development:
Contribute to new business acquisition.Qualifications:
Licensing:
Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license.Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage.Technical Expertise:
Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.Carrier Interaction:
Proven experience working with various carriers and engaging directly with their underwriters.Technology Proficiency:
Familiarity with online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.Software Skills:
Proficiency in using insurance software, including Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360.Microsoft Office:
Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Existing Book of Business:
Possession of an existing book of business is a significant advantage.Benefits:
