Role Overview Our current opening is for a Network Services Account Executive in our Lenexa office. As a Network Services Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships, maximizing account penetration, and driving customer retention within assigned business accounts. This role serves as a trusted technology advisor, helping clients identify and implement tailored IT and network solutions that align with their business goals. As a Network Services Account Executive, you will: Act as a strategic technology advisor, identifying and delivering tailored solutions in areas such as cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and unified communications Consult with customers to understand business challenges and develop effective technology-based solutions Identify and pursue opportunities with both existing and prospective customers Convert leads into qualified opportunities by coordinating the appropriate sales process and internal resources Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including Facility Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Purchasing teams, and other stakeholders Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities Create and execute account-specific business plans to support long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships Prepare and deliver account reports, proposals, and pricing for projects, repairs, upgrades, and service agreements Proactively follow up with customers to secure renewals of service contracts and ongoing business Estimate projects by analyzing equipment, controls, subcontractors, and service requirements Prepare, negotiate, and review agreements and project scopes Assist customers with technical questions related to systems and relevant industry trends Utilize knowledge of networking, wireless, VoIP, UCaaS, storage, servers, PCs, and related technology solutions to effectively position services and solutions Deliver professional presentations and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently Ideal Candidate We are seeking a motivated and consultative sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to uncover client needs and recommend tailored technology solutions Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities Experience managing multiple accounts and projects in a fast-paced environment A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise technology solutions Proven success in B2B technology sales and account development Persistence, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset The ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with customers A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies and industry trends Requirements Associate's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Three to five years of experience in technology sales or technology service sales preferred Relevant vendor certifications such as Extreme Networks, DellEMC, Mitel, ShoreTel, HP, VMware, Citrix, or similar technology solutions preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business tools Valid driver's license Final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation, including criminal and motor vehicle check At C&C Group, we recognize and reward talent with a competitive salary and commission structure, and full benefits package, including: 401(k) with company match and financial planning education.
