98.3-FM WLCS Classic Hits, 100.1 WVIB-FM Urban Contemporary, 92.5-FM WWSN is our Adult Contemporary Station. The cluster of 3 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis. Cumulus Media | Muskegon, MI has an immediate opening for a full time Multi-Media Account Executive. Our Multi-Media Account Executives provide solutions to their clients in West Michigan and contacts across the US maximizing our multi-media options that include audio and highly targeted digital assets. As a Multi-Media Account Executive, you will be responsible for aggressively pursuing online presence and advertising sales with local clients. The Multi-Media Account Executive will leverage Cumulus Media's world-class solutions and your sales experience to exceed sales goals and help clients achieve their marketing goals. The Multi-Media Account Executive reports to the Sales Manager. Key Responsibilities & QualificationsKey Responsibilities:
- Ability to identify decision-maker needs and gain understanding of objectives. This leads to development of effective integrated marketing solutions that deliver results and ROI
- Confidently deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations which may include audio, video, digital, and event partnerships
- Focused new business development via ongoing prospecting to aggressively seek to grow revenue. Networking, initial contact/cold calling, canvassing, client referrals are all examples of building and maintaining a robust target list of qualified new customers
- Utilize resources for continuous education and awareness. This includes the rapidly changing competitive landscape and emerging technology to best position Cumulus solutions as the premiere solution providers in the marketplace
- Follow procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular sales reports including detailed business development pipeline, revenue performance forecast, and competitive analysis using CRM
- Collaborate with team resources to generate creative solutions
- Utilize and embrace the use of the CRM daily
- Strive to achieve revenue budgets on a monthly basis
- Work hands-on with your Sales Manager to set and exceed sales goals
- Win clients through new business development efforts including prospecting, cold calling, and scheduling face to face and virtual appointments with potential clients
- Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction
- Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads
- Negotiate rates and ensure prompt payments
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM tools
- Strong background in cold calling/prospecting and door to door sales
- Organization skills with the ability to keep a full pipeline
- Experienced lead generator and ability to connect with viable prospects
- Experience with online presence and digital advertising solutions
- Excellent communication skills - strong presenter to clients of sales opportunities and post-sale successes
- Positive attitude and passion for the job
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred.
