Job Summary We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Commercial Insurance Producer to join our team. This is a pure "hunter" role designed for a disciplined professional who thrives on autonomy and the thrill of the chase. You will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle—from identifying untapped markets and building a robust pipeline to closing complex commercial accounts. If you are a resilient salesperson who excels in a performance-driven environment, this role offers the freedom to build your own "business within a business" with uncapped earning potential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Revenue Generation:
Drive agency growth by pursuing and securing new commercial lines of business.
Prospecting & Lead Gen:
Identify and qualify high-value prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic market research.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain a rigorous sales discipline by managing a high-volume pipeline, ensuring consistent movement from initial contact to close.
Consultative Selling:
Analyze the risk profiles of prospective clients and develop tailored insurance solutions that address their specific business needs.
Closing:
Lead formal presentations and proposals to C-suite executives and business owners, effectively overcoming objections to win new accounts.
Market Strategy:
Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain deep knowledge of commercial insurance products and carrier appetites.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Proven track record in B2B sales or business development; experience in commercial insurance is highly preferred but we will train a "natural hunter."
Licensing:
Must possess (or be willing to obtain) a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
Mindset:
A competitive, "hunter" mentality with the discipline to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Communication:
Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse business owners.
Resilience:
High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle the "no's" required to get to a "yes."
Compensation & Benefits Structure:
Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commission .
