Job Description
Alleghany Services has been a leader in commercial and agricultural excavation, utility installation, site development, engineering, and water management solutions across the Eastern U.S. since 1983. We are known for delivering precision-driven drainage and infrastructure projects that maximize efficiency, sustainability, and long-term value. Now, we're making a strategic push into the Goldsboro/Clinton, NC market—and we're looking for a high-performing Account Executive to lead that expansion. This is not a maintenance sales role. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a territory, develop relationships, and drive revenue in a new and high-potential region. What You'll Do:
Own and aggressively grow the Goldsboro/Clinton territory by identifying, targeting, and closing new business opportunities Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting and relationship-building to proposal development and closing Engage directly with farms, landowners, developers, and commercial operators (including agriculture, solar, and infrastructure projects) to educate and sell high-value drainage and site solutions Build a strong pipeline and consistently convert opportunities into revenue Establish Alleghany Services as a trusted partner in a new regional market Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Construction teams to deliver winning project solutions Track performance, forecast revenue, and report on pipeline activity and resultsWhat We Expect:
A hunter mentality with a proven ability to generate and close new business Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to translate customer needs into high-value solutions High energy, self-discipline, and a relentless drive to exceed targets Ability to operate independently while building a new territory from the ground up Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills Agricultural or land-development sales experience strongly preferredAdditional Responsibilities:
Identify market opportunities and provide strategic input on regional growth Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards Continuously look for ways to improve processes and drive results Other duties as assignedCompensation:
Base salary + uncapped monthly commission High earning potential tied directly to performance and territory growth.Job Type:
