This role is designed for individuals who want to build a long-term career in sales. New representatives begin by learning our industry, sales process, products, and customer base through hands-on outbound prospecting and business development. As experience, skills, and client relationships grow, representatives gain greater autonomy over their schedules, pipelines, and daily activities. Many of our most successful sales professionals started by mastering the fundamentals of prospecting, communication, and relationship building. Over time, they developed recurring business, stronger referral networks, and the flexibility that comes with managing an established portfolio of merchants. For more than 25 years, Infinity Payment Systems has helped small businesses reduce payment processing costs through transparent pricing, payment processing solutions, and point-of-sale technology. As we continue to expand, we are looking for motivated sales professionals who are comfortable prospecting, building relationships, and generating new business opportunities. Position Overview This is an inside sales role focused on outbound business development. Representatives work from our headquarters, engaging business owners nationwide to identify opportunities, present solutions, and develop long-term customer relationships. The position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy a performance-driven environment and want a direct connection between effort, results, and compensation. While the role requires discipline and consistent prospecting, it also offers significant long-term growth opportunities for individuals committed to developing their sales skills and professional careers. Responsibilities Conduct outbound prospecting calls to business owners and decision-makers Identify customer needs and present payment processing and POS solutions Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective merchants Follow up consistently throughout the sales cycle Build long-term customer relationships through professionalism and responsiveness Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure successful onboarding Qualifications Previous sales experience required Experience with outbound prospecting or business development preferred Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and manage activity goals Professional, coachable, and results-oriented Experience in payment processing, merchant services, or POS systems is a plus Compensation & Opportunity This position offers a competitive compensation structure with a base salary and uncapped commissions. Many of our successful representatives earn well into six figures, with top performers exceeding $200,000 annually. Our highest-producing sales professionals have earned more than $500,000. These results are not typical and require consistent prospecting, strong sales execution, and sustained effort over time.
