Job Description

Full Time - In-office, Bohemia, NY We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing commercial insurance team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have strong construction insurance knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage accounts efficiently while building lasting client relationships. This position plays a key role in client retention, account management, and supporting new business growth. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day servicing of commercial accounts with accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness Prioritize workflow effectively and follow agency procedures for applications, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, policy changes, and certificates Process policy changes and binding requests with carriers while ensuring accuracy and timely completion Market and submit new business opportunities to carrier and wholesale markets; track submissions from quoting through binding Review client exposures, coverage, and loss history to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions Prepare renewal marketing when appropriate and present renewal and remarketed options to clients with clear coverage explanations Provide proactive, high-touch customer service while taking ownership of client questions and concerns through resolution Support account retention efforts through strong relationship management and consistent follow-up Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and referral generation Maintain accurate documentation and comply with internal workflows, procedures, and service standards Continue developing industry and product knowledge through training, webinars, and continuing education Collaborate with team members to support agency goals and deliver an exceptional client experience
Qualifications :
Valid New York State Property & Casualty License required Minimum of 3 years prior Commercial insurance experience with an independent insurance broker required Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, professional, and client-focused approach Ability to problem-solve independently and work proactively Experience with carrier portals, agency management systems, and Microsoft Office If you are looking for an opportunity to join a supportive team where your expertise and client service skills are valued, we encourage you to apply.
