Territory Account Executive - Cannabis Sales (New York State)
Compensation:
$60,000 - $100,000+ per year BOE (Base Salary + Commission + Mileage Reimbursement)

Field-Based | New York Territory Coverage Multiple positions available supporting territories throughout New York State, including NYC, Long Island, Hudson Valley, Capital Region, Central New York, Western New York, Southern Tier, Finger Lakes, and surrounding expansion markets. Territory assignments will be based on business needs, geography, and candidate fit. About Honey King Honey King is a cannabis brand with roots in California and New York focused on strong retail partnerships, product consistency, and long-term growth across New York's adult-use market. We are seeking experienced outside sales professionals who can independently manage territories, build customer relationships, open new business, and execute consistently in a field-driven environment. If you are comfortable owning customer relationships, managing territory coverage, and being measured on performance, accountability, and execution, we want to hear from you. Account Ownership & Sales Growth Own, manage, and grow assigned customer accounts within designated regional coverage areas Prospect, pitch, and open new retail dispensary accounts to drive revenue Conduct regular in-person dispensary visits and buyer meetings Secure reorders, increase product placement, and provide sell-through support Build and maintain strong retailer relationships Support account collections, payment follow-up, and customer communication when needed Support adjacent regions or accounts when business needs dictate Field Execution & Strategy Plan and manage your own travel routes, schedule, and territory coverage efficiently Travel regularly throughout assigned territories across New York State Support pop-ups, product launches, brand activations, and customer events Gather and report market intelligence and competitor insights Represent the Honey King brand professionally at all times in the field CRM, Pipeline & Accountability Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates following customer interactions and field activity Log account activity, interaction notes, and next steps consistently Maintain organized pipelines and follow-up activity to support account growth and retention Work independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership Qualifications Must be 21+ with a valid state-issued ID Minimum 2+ years of outside sales or field sales experience required Experience in cannabis, beverage/alcohol, CPG, distribution, or B2B sales preferred Proven ability to prospect, develop customer relationships, and independently manage sales activity Experience opening new business accounts and managing customer relationships preferred CRM experience required ( HubSpot experience highly preferred ) Exceptional organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly throughout New York State Comfortable managing a territory independently with minimal supervision Compensation & Benefits Base salary plus competitive commission structure tied to assigned account ownership and collected sales Mileage reimbursement Approved travel reimbursement (when applicable) Company-issued phone Employee discount opportunities Important Expectations Accounts belong to Honey King and may be reassigned or adjusted as business needs evolve Commission eligibility is based on assigned account ownership and collected sales performance Territory coverage and account assignments may evolve as business needs change This is a highly active, field-driven role requiring accountability, organization, and follow-through Schedule Monday-Friday Occasional evenings or weekends for events, activations, or key account support as needed Work Location Field-Based /
