Sales Account Executive G.R.O. Energy Solutions, LLC In-Person Position | Full-Time About Us G.R.O. Energy Solutions is a home performance and energy efficiency company specializing in insulation, HVAC upgrades, and weatherization services. We work closely with state-funded energy programs, including grant and incentive opportunities, to help homeowners improve comfort, safety, and energy efficiency while reducing out-of-pocket costs. Our team manages projects from initial assessment through completion, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every customer. Position Overview G.R.O. Energy Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Onboarding Specialist to manage the initial stages of the customer journey. This role is responsible for contacting new customers, guiding them through grant applications, collecting required documentation, and preparing contracts. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding experience while helping drive project conversions. This position is expected to contribute directly to company revenue by converting leads into closed jobs and maximizing sales opportunities, with a quarterly commission structure based on jobs successfully closed. This role acts as the main point of contact for customers, providing a streamlined and personalized experience by supporting them from the initial inquiry through final project completion. Key Responsibilities
- Contact new customers promptly after lead intake
- Guide customers through grant application processes
- Send and track required paperwork and documentation for grants
- Collect and organize customer energy bills and required documents for grants
- Follow up consistently to ensure all onboarding steps are completed
- Create and prepare contracts for customer approval
- Coordinate with sales, auditors, and office staff to move grant projects forward
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/software systems
- Help drive job conversions through consistent follow-up and communication
- Could be working on as many as 500 projects at a time
- Must attend marketing events, which could be on Saturday or Sunday with notice provided
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support daily operations and team objectives Required Experience
- 1-3 years experience in sales support or customer onboarding roles
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person) with a professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work in a team environment Work Schedule Full-Time Monday - Friday 8-hour shifts Compensation $22-26 Base hourly pay (based on experience) Quarterly commission based on jobs successfully closed
