About Brophy Brothers Brophy Brothers is a specialty produce distributor serving the foodservice industry across the New York metropolitan area. As part of the Produce One platform, Brophy Brothers combines the agility and personal relationships of a family-rooted distributor with the scale, purchasing power, and resources of a growing multi-company organization. We are investing in our sales team and building a foundation for sustained growth across restaurants, hotels, institutions, and catering operations. The Opportunity We are seeking driven, relationship-focused Sales Executives to join our team and help build something from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to grow a territory, develop a book of business, and play a foundational role in the next chapter of Brophy Brothers' growth — backed by the resources of an expanding produce platform. What You'll Do Manage and grow a portfolio of foodservice accounts, including restaurants, hotels, institutions, and catering operations Proactively prospect and develop new business within an assigned New York metro territory Build trusted, long-term relationships with chefs, owners, and operators by understanding their needs and delivering consistent value Partner closely with operations and sales leadership to ensure service levels and product quality reflect the Brophy Brothers standard Stay current on product availability, seasonality, and market pricing to advise clients effectively Maintain accurate account records and pipeline activity using company CRM tools Represent Brophy Brothers professionally in the field, at industry events, and within the culinary community Qualifications What We're Looking For Minimum two years of sales experience in foodservice, produce, or specialty food distribution Strong culinary background a plus — experience in a professional kitchen, with chefs, or in restaurant operations is highly valued A proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field Excellent communication and negotiation skills Working knowledge of the New York metro foodservice market preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Brophy Brothers, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
