Palliative Care opening in OhioFull timeCanton, OhOverviewJoin a compassionate, multidisciplinary Hospice and Palliative Care program within a large nonprofit regional health system. This opportunity offers a meaningful practice focused on improving quality of life for patients with serious illness and supporting families through comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and home-based services.

Practice Highlights Full-time employed position within an integrated health system Main hospice and palliative care hub located at dedicated off-campus supportive care center Services include: Home hospice and palliative care 12-bed inpatient hospice unit Ambulatory supportive oncology clinics Inpatient palliative consult services across multiple hospitals Collaborative interdisciplinary care teams Clinical Responsibilities Provide expert hospice and palliative care consultation and management Support patients with serious and life-limiting illnesses Collaborate with hospice and palliative care teams to coordinate care plans Participate in: Staff education Patient care review Medical community liaison activities Deliver inpatient, outpatient, and home-based supportive care services Participate in shared call rotation: Weekday and weekend call 1:4 schedule Practice Environment Patient-centered, mission-driven organization Strong interdisciplinary collaboration Supportive oncology integration within cancer centers Focus on compassionate communication and quality of life Qualifications M.D. or D.O.
