About the
Opportunity:
A reputable, rapidly growing logistics organization is seeking an ambitious, motivated Account Executive to join their expanding team. To maintain industry confidentiality, the company name is withheld, but they are a premier non-asset based 3PL located in the beautiful Greater Central Coast area. Position Overview:
This is a remote-first market position with the flexibility to work from home, though occasional travel to the extended Morro Bay area will be required for team meetings and collaboration. We are seeking a "Hunter" —a 2-3 year sales representative who is hungry to maximize their income via an aggressive, competitive commission structure.
What You'll Do:
Prospect, qualify, and close new business utilizing a hunter mindset. Manage and grow client relationships by offering integrated logistics solutions. Coordinate diverse freight solutions including FTL, LTL, Intermodal (Rail), Food Grade Tankers, Air/Ocean, Heavyhaul, Flatbed, Dry, and Temperature-Controlled loads across the US, Canada, Mexico, and global markets. Negotiate competitive rates to save clients time and money.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
2-3 years of successful sales experience.
Industry Background:
Direct experience working within a non-asset based 3PL or freight forwarding company is highly preferred.
Roles:
Background as a Sales Representative, Freight Broker, or Account Manager.
Mindset:
A self-motivated hunter who thrives on closing deals and is driven by commission milestones.
Geography:
Must reside within driving distance of the Central Coast (ideal regions include Bakersfield, Tulare, Fresno, or Santa Maria, CA) for occasional mandatory on-site meetings. What's In It For You?
