Job Description

B2B Account Executive (Commercial Insurance) Conner Insurance Group is a second-generation, independent agency experiencing a major strategic evolution. We are actively shifting our portfolio toward middle-market commercial accounts in high-stakes niches like manufacturing, aerospace, and cyber risk. To support this growth, we are breaking down legacy insurance workflows and using smart tech automation to eliminate administrative friction, allowing our production team to focus entirely on hunting and closing high-value deals. We are seeking a relentless, high-performing Commercial Lines Producer to drive new business acquisition in the $50,000 to $500,000 premium band.
Note:
An insurance background is not mandatory. We can teach you the technical mechanics of risk. We cannot teach you grit, curiosity, or the innate ability to command a room of C-suite executives. If you have a proven track record of killing it in B2B sales, medical device sales, SaaS, or logistics, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do Hunt & Close:
Secure new commercial insurance accounts within our specialized target niches through aggressive outbound prospecting, networking, and strategic risk consultations.
Advise C-Suite Executives:
Engage with business owners, CFOs, and risk managers to identify vulnerabilities in their current corporate structures and position our premium risk management strategies as the solution. Leverage the
System:
Utilize our tech-forward internal automation and advanced CRM pipelines to maximize your prospecting velocity and eliminate the administrative baggage that slows traditional sales cycles down. Collaborate with
Advisement:
Partner directly with our internal Commercial Risk Advisors to hand off won accounts for long-term placement and elite service execution, keeping your calendar clear to hunt the next deal. Master the
Market:
Quickly develop a deep, sophisticated understanding of mid-market corporate liabilities, emerging cyber threats, and complex industry risk profiles. What We Are Looking For Proven B2
B Track Record:
A documented history of meeting or exceeding quotas in a complex, relationship-driven B2B sales environment.
Elite Communication & Presence:
The ability to speak the language of business finance, negotiate complex agreements, and confidently advise executive decision-makers.
Competitive Drive:
A self-motivated, high-energy closer who is frustrated by bureaucratic corporate ceilings and wants an uncapped compensation structure tied directly to revenue generation.
Tech-Fluent Execution:
A modern salesperson who leverages data, CRM systems, and digital pipelines to work smart and scale their book quickly.
Licensing:

Benefits & Compensation:
Uncapped commission structure with residual income stream on renewals. Core benefits package.

$54,000.00 - $124,000.00 per year
