Job Description

Jerome L. Taylor Trucking (JLT Trucking) is seeking a results-driven Inside Account Executive to support the growth of our waste and recyclables collection business. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing, with a strong focus on developing national accounts, broker relationships, and web-based opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with a proven ability to generate revenue in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Key Responsibilities Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing new business Identify and pursue opportunities within national accounts, broker channels, and inbound/web-based leads Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, national account partners, and key decision-makers Respond to and convert web-based inquiries into qualified opportunities and closed business Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contract terms to secure profitable business Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts within CRM systems Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to effectively position JLT Trucking's services Consistently meet or exceed established revenue, margin, and activity metrics Qualifications 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or waste/recycling, logistics, or service-based sales Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas Experience managing full sales cycles, including negotiation and closing Experience working with national accounts, brokers, or channel sales is strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar preferred)
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
