The company serves manufacturers, exporters, project cargo organizations, government contractors, and supply chain partners, and has a long-standing operational presence in the region. This is a field-based business development role focused on building a sustainable pipeline, generating new revenue, and expanding market presence across the Charleston area. Schedule Full-time, field-based role with regular travel throughout the Charleston territory. Compensation $75,000 to $80,000 base salary, plus uncapped commission. A company vehicle is included. What You'll Do In this role, you will spend the majority of your time in the field identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the Charleston market. Your primary focus will be generating revenue through the sale of warehousing, storage, export services, cargo handling, project logistics, and related industrial logistics solutions. You will develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects, conduct customer meetings and facility tours, prepare proposals and pricing recommendations, and deliver solution-based presentations tailored to each customer's operational needs. Relationship development is central to this position. You will work to build trusted partnerships with key decision-makers at manufacturing companies, exporters, distributors, freight forwarders, and industrial businesses throughout the region. You will represent the company at networking events and industry functions, and maintain ongoing engagement with existing accounts to identify additional growth opportunities. You will also coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and execution following the close of new business. You will maintain accurate records in a CRM platform, track pipeline activity and revenue forecasts, and provide regular updates to leadership on sales performance and market developments. You will monitor trends across manufacturing, maritime, and industrial sectors and collaborate with leadership on strategies for continued market expansion. Required Qualifications 3 or more years of outside sales or business development experience Experience selling logistics, 3PL, warehousing, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions Familiarity with import/export operations and supply chain processes Proven track record of generating new business and building customer relationships in a field sales capacity Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills Solid communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities Ability to develop customized solutions and value propositions based on customer operational challenges Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory Preferred Qualifications Existing relationships within the Charleston manufacturing, logistics, maritime, industrial, construction, or distribution sectors Experience with project cargo, cargo handling, or port-adjacent logistics services Familiarity with government contractor supply chain requirements Experience selling a multi-service or bundled logistics portfolio Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $75,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience Uncapped commission structure Company vehicle provided Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off To Apply Submit your resume along with a brief overview of your logistics or industrial sales background and any relevant Charleston-area market experience.
