Job Title:
Radio Account Executive (Sales Representative) Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Account Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will connect local and regional businesses with their target audiences by selling tailored radio advertising and digital marketing solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder who thrives on chasing new business, uncovering client needs, and creating strategic ad campaigns that drive real measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities New Business Development:
Actively prospect, cold-call, and secure meetings with local business owners and decision-makers to build a strong sales pipeline.
Consultative Selling:
Conduct thorough needs-analysis meetings with clients to understand their business challenges, target demographics, and marketing goals.
Campaign Creation:
Collaborate with our creative and production teams to develop compelling, results-driven audio commercials and multi-platform marketing proposals.
Account Management:
Maintain and grow existing client relationships by providing exceptional customer service, managing campaign schedules, and delivering post-campaign performance reviews.
Revenue Management:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly individual sales quotas. Manage timely collections on all active accounts.
Qualifications & Experience Experience:
B2B sales experience is preferred (media, advertising, or digital marketing sales is a major plus, but we will train the right driven individual).
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. You must feel comfortable pitching ideas to business owners and executives.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency with Microsoft office is a plus.
Attributes:
Exceptional time management, resilience in handling rejection, a strong work ethic, and a highly collaborative team spirit.
Requirements:
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required for frequent local client visits.
Pay Structure:
Base salary plus commission
