Full Job Description Description:
TOMITA USA, Inc. has an immediate opening for an outside Industrial Sales Associate to cover the Northern Alabama/Tennessee sales territory. Our primary focus is Japanese Automotive Manufactures, and their Tier 1 & 2 suppliers. The Account Manager will visit key customers on a regular basis and develop an action plan to grow and maintain accounts while identifying customer's needs and market opportunities.
Essential Functions:
Develops multiple relationships within the customer's organization including purchasing, engineering, facility managers, project managers, maintenance, quality and corporate level management. Develop product knowledge while using the hands-on approach and personal initiative. Develop relationships with vendors to gain product knowledge and technical support. Customer service support and team commitment. Produce and track sales, orders and inventory reports. Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Position requires strong communication skills, computer literacy, a high sense of urgency, and strong organizational and time management skills. Candidates must be able to work within a team organization, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Minimum Required Education:
HS Diploma Minimum Required Experience:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel with aptitude to learn new computer applications. Excellent math, verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills. Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team. Fast and accurate data entry skills.
