We source, manufacture, and deliver engineered fasteners, fabricated components, machined parts, and Class C supply programs for OEMs across HVAC, automotive, elevator, and miscellaneous markets. Our operations include U.S.-based manufacturing, global sourcing, vendor-managed inventory (VMI), kitting, and third-party logistics (3PL) services—all focused on reliability, speed, and cost control. We succeed by doing the fundamentals exceptionally well and building long-term customer partnerships. Position Summary The Account Manager plays a critical role in supporting customer relationships and driving profitable growth. This position is responsible for quoting, pricing, margin management, contract and purchase order review, and day-to-day customer support, while also assisting with new business development. The role partners closely with operations, sourcing, and outside sales to ensure accurate execution and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage customer quotes, including pricing analysis and margin review Review customer contracts, terms, and requirements to ensure alignment with company capabilities Enter and manage customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing day-to-day requests and follow-up Support relationship management through proactive communication and issue resolution Participate in customer site visits as needed to support account relationships and business development Assist with identifying and supporting new business opportunities Coordinate internally with operations, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment Handle miscellaneous customer requests and administrative sales support tasks as needed Qualifications 2+ years of Account Manager, customer service, or account support experience in a manufacturing, or supply chain environment Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and cost drivers Experience with contract review and purchase order processing preferred High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills Proficient with ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel required) Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, growing company with a strong execution-focused culture Exposure to diverse markets and supply chain solutions Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth Altius Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
