Account Manager Position Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and business diversification by maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients along with developing new business. This role focuses on expanding market presence, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction within the healthcare staffing industry. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience required Healthcare industry knowledge required Experience supporting government contracts or familiarity with government procurement processes preferred Understanding of candidate onboarding, credentialing, and compliance requirements Knowledge of government clearance processes (e.g., background investigations, security clearances) preferred Proven track record of revenue generation and account management success Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Proficiency with CRM and Applicant Tracking Systems required Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities Up to 50% travel required, likely much less. Must report to the office when not traveling Responsibilities Conduct sales calls to prospective clients to establish relationships, secure contracts, and ensure seamless follow-through to meet client needs Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, including contract renewals, performance reviews, and resolution of concerns Collaborate directly with client representatives to identify additional service opportunities, generating increased revenue for the organization Assist in onboarding healthcare professionals placed on government contracts, ensuring all documentation, credentialing, and compliance requirements are completed accurately and timely Track and monitor candidate government clearance status, background investigations, and required certifications to ensure contract compliance Coordinate with recruiting, credentialing, and compliance teams to ensure candidates meet all federal, state, and agency-specific requirements Ensure adherence to government contract guidelines, security protocols, and healthcare regulatory standards Stay informed of trends and changes within the healthcare staffing and government contracting industries to remain competitive Monitor marketplace developments, including acquisitions, expansions, and regulatory changes that may impact staffing needs Accurately track and document all sales activity within the Sales CRM Upon closing a sale, upload and update job requirements, pay rates, bill rates, clearance requirements, and relevant contract details into the Applicant Tracking System to support recruitment and compliance efforts Work closely with executives, the sales team, and marketing professionals to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives Identify new sectors, government agencies, and service lines for expansion opportunities Assist with proposals, RFP responses, and solicitations by providing market intelligence, pricing input, and operational insight Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, partners, and stakeholders Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, government contracting requirements, and industry standards in all business development activities
