Description
Composition Brands is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Account Manager to drive profitable revenue growth within an assigned portfolio of dealer accounts. This role combines consultative selling, account management, and operational support to maximize dealer performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The Inside Sales Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for their assigned dealers and is responsible for developing relationships, identifying sales opportunities, increasing product adoption, and achieving assigned revenue goals through proactive outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and virtual engagement. Success is measured by revenue growth, dealer engagement, pipeline management, and overall account performance.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Account Management
Own and achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Manage a defined portfolio of dealer accounts.
Develop and execute account growth plans for assigned dealers.
Proactively contact dealers through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and virtual meetings. Identify opportunities to increase dealer purchases through consultative selling.
Grow average order value through cross-selling and upselling across the Composition Brands portfolio. Drive participation in promotions, product launches, and seasonal selling opportunities. Meet or exceed outbound activity goals, including calls, emails, opportunities created, and revenue generated.
Dealer Relationship Management
Serve as the primary sales & operational contact for assigned dealers. Build trusted, long-term relationships with dealer owners, managers, and sales associates.
Identify opportunities to expand product assortment and increase market share.
Educate dealers on new products, promotions, marketing programs, and merchandising opportunities.
Sales Order Management & Dealer Support
Process orders accurately and efficiently. Track shipments and provide timely order status updates. Coordinate order releases, freight issues, billing questions, and lead times. Resolve order-related issues quickly to eliminate barriers to closing business.
Respond to dealer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, specifications, inventory, promotions, and programs. Manage returns, RMAs, and customer service escalations.
Coordinate product samples, literature, and sales collateral.
Product & Program Knowledge
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Composition Brands products through regular training.
Complete new product onboarding paperwork for dealers as needed.
Stay abreast of product launch and sku rationalization timelines and transitions.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of promotional program requirements. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, account management, or business development (B2B/dealer-distributor preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Sharepoint.
Experience with CRM/Warehouse Management Systems.
Results oriented & self-motivated.

Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Proactive problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail & high level of accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and product training.
