Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and driven Insurance Account Representative to join our fast-paced insurance agency. The ideal candidate brings strong insurance expertise, excellent relationship-building skills, proven managerial leadership experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This person should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, in-person work environment. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions across property & casualty, health, and life insurance products. Prepare quotes, present proposals, and negotiate coverage terms with clients and carriers to secure favorable outcomes. Process applications, endorsements, and renewals while maintaining accurate client and policy information in the CRM. Monitor policy changes and support compliance with applicable insurance regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and coordinating with underwriting and claims teams as needed. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, including outside sales activities when appropriate. Collaborate effectively with internal team members to support agency goals and client success. Qualifications Extensive insurance experience in both personal and commercial lines. Active P&C / Life & Health licenses required. Strong customer service experience required. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate web-based applications. Ability to build strong relationships with both customers and team members. Proven ability to work independently and require minimal supervision. Managerial leadership experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. College degree preferred, but not required. Familiarity with State Farm preferred, but not required. Work Location This is a full-time, in-person position based in Monrovia, CA 91016.
