We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with existing customers, ensuring exceptional service, coordinating orders, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts and generate additional sales. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts and develop strong, long-term relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, providing responsive and professional customer service. Proactively communicate with customers to understand their needs, upcoming programs, and purchasing requirements. Identify opportunities to increase account sales through additional products, custom apparel, uniforms, team gear, and company programs. Coordinate customer orders from initial inquiry through production, fulfillment, and final delivery. Prepare and submit sales order information, and other required documentation accurately and on time. Follow up with customers regarding quotes, orders, deposits, balances, production timelines, and deliveries. Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, credit terms, orders, and company programs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM and other company systems. Work closely with sales, accounting, production, and operations teams to ensure customer expectations are met. Understand and promote Courtsmith Basketball Industries products, services, and company programs. Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations when appropriate. Visit customers when needed to strengthen relationships, evaluate needs, and promote products and services. Participate in periodic meetings and sales calls with Executive Management to discuss account strategies, sales opportunities, and business development initiatives. Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address issues or concerns to ensure a positive customer experience. Assist with resolving order, product, pricing, and fulfillment issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a high level of attention to detail when entering orders, customer information, pricing, and other data into company systems. Support overall company sales goals while prioritizing customer retention and long-term account growth. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant experience is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of customer service, account management, sales, or related experience , preferably in the apparel, fashion, sporting goods, or team sports industry. Experience working with CRM software and customer accounts. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust with customers and suppliers. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, orders, and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and entering information into CRM or other software applications. Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to finding solutions for customers. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with sales, marketing, operations, and executive management. Must be willing to work flexible hours and travel when needed. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record with no major infractions.
