Vitalant is seeking a results-driven, customer-focused, and community-minded Account Manager to play a vital role in our mission while significantly impacting lives across your territory. As an Account Manager, your impact is vital. You will achieve monthly and annual blood collection goals by building lasting relationships with volunteer coordinators and community partners. Through strategic outreach, collaboration, and coaching, you'll help maintain and grow existing accounts while identifying new opportunities to host lifesaving blood drives—especially with an emphasis on bringing in first-time donors. What toExpect Salary :
$70,304 to 92,341.60 Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends for blood drive events. Travel within your assigned territory is required. Build strong relationships with volunteer blood drive coordinators at schools, businesses, religious organizations, and other community groups. Coach and motivate coordinators to increase donor turnout, especially among first-time donors, and to establish or strengthen blood drive committees. Develop and execute recruitment plans to meet individual and territory-based collection goals. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate projections and optimal appointment scheduling for successful drives. Identify and secure new blood drive opportunities in your territory and support national partner engagement when applicable. Maintain accurate drive information using established systems and processesRequirements:
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred. One year of relevant experience required Valid in-state driver's license required Skills/Abilities Effective oral and written communication skills. Sales/territory management skills. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter with good organization skills. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Provide own vehicle for transportation.
