Full Job Description The Account Manager is focused on sales of PHG product to an identified group of medium to large sized customers. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, drive sales with established customers, reinvigorate new customers and acquire new customers through our lead list and tradeshow. The Account Manager will be the main point of contact with their customer(s) and work cross-functionally within the organization (Planning, Production, Marketing) to effectively execute objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Strategically drive sales to meet PHG's annual revenue and margin goals. Develop strong customers relationships with existing customer base through weekly, bi-monthly and monthly telephone interactions. Identify cold customers and proactively solicit business on a regular call schedule. Obtain new customers by follow up on web registration and tradeshow leads within a specific time-frame. Create quotes for customer and close the sale in a timely manner. Review customer booking orders weekly and report on progress to meet sales goals. Generate incremental revenue through up-selling and product recommendations. Keep accurate customer communication records and update customers profiles on a regular basis. Self-manage order flow, seasonal item set up, claim and replacement requests. Communicate product delivery information to customers - pricing, freight, ship dates, issues. Support customer's marketing requests. Execute seasonal sales campaign initiatives. Attend seasonal tradeshows. Support special projects as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Must be highly computer proficient, especially with Microsoft Office, and demonstrate strong skills in organizing, maintaining, and retrieving electronic files and documents. In a similar business environment preferred. Ability to professionally overcome and handle objectives. Proactively address issues and solve problems. lent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational ability Rock-solid time management. Ability to work effectively as a team and independently. Proficiency using ERP.
