Person Profile Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in the defence business sector. Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
Personality:
Very well organised with good planning skills. Interested in improving company processes. Able to get on with others and be a team-player. Well presented. Reliable and able to handle confidential information.
Personal Situation:
The job is full-time, with hours worked flexibly to suit the customer's needs. It is expected that there will be the need to work extended hours from time-to-time. A valid driving licence is essential. The job requires some foreign travel. Must have or be suitable for US security clearance.
Specific Job Skills:
At least three-five years experience of the procurement process in the US government.
Computer skills:
Must be adept in use of job specific software tools and MS Office 365 or later, particularly Teams, Excel and Word, Internet and email.
Literacy and Numeracy:
Able to understand and perform the mathematical calculations required for quotations and business planning.
Business Skills:
Must be a good face-to-face and telephone communicator.
Management Ability:
The job does not require any direct people management.
