Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Hypowers Service Division is expanding under new leadership, and we are seeking a results-driven Electrical Account Manager to join our team. This is a remote-enabled role based in the Fort Lauderdale area, ideal for a self-starter with a strong electrical background who excels at client management, project estimating, and detailed proposal development. The successful candidate will manage ongoing and new client relationships, estimate and run small business-to-business service projects, and work closely with operations to ensure quality execution. Manage and grow commercial client accounts within an assigned territory. Estimate and manage small-scale electrical service projects from inception to closeout. Prepare detailed, accurate take-offs and cost estimates using electrical estimating software (preferably Accubid). Write clear, concise, and comprehensive proposal scopes of work, including defined inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions to ensure alignment with client expectations and reduce project risk. Collaborate with field crews, trade partners, and suppliers to manage schedules, track project progress, and coordinate material deliveries. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and RFPs. Prepare and review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
