Account Manager
Job Description
Overview UNIS is seeking a customer-focused Account Manager to serve as the primary connection between assigned customers and warehouse operations. You will coordinate daily logistics needs, maintain accurate documentation, and help deliver a reliable, high-quality customer experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, providing timely updates and responsive service. Coordinate inbound and outbound appointments with warehouse teams to meet customer requirements. Prepare and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, billing, and customer documentation. Produce receiving, OS&D, inventory, shipment-status, and customer-specific reports. Resolve routine operational and billing issues by partnering with warehouse, inventory, transportation, and administrative teams. Minimum Requirements 3+ years of experience in customer service, account management, warehouse operations, logistics, transportation, or a related supply-chain environment. Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory, shipping/receiving, and transportation coordination. Experience using a WMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and customer reporting tools. Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced setting. Preferred Requirements Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Experience supporting third-party logistics, distribution, or high-volume warehouse accounts. Experience with customer billing, discrepancy resolution, and OS&D reporting. Comfort using AI-enabled tools or automation to improve reporting, communication, and productivity. Flexibility to provide occasional after-hours support during critical operational situations. Skills Customer relationship building and service ownership. Cross-functional coordination and clear communication. Operational reporting, documentation, and data accuracy. Prioritization, follow-through, and adaptability under changing demands. Continuous improvement mindset, including thoughtful use of technology and AI tools.
