Full-Time | In-Person | Client-Facting About the Opportunity MCL Talent Partners is hiring on behalf of a client in the Des Moines metro area for a full-time Business Account Manager position. This is an in-person, client-facing opportunity focused on meeting with local business owners, building professional relationships, and helping clients review available services and solutions for their teams. This role is a good fit for candidates who are comfortable working in a professional office setting while also attending scheduled client meetings within the local community. The position includes structured training, mentorship, and ongoing support from the beginning. This opportunity may be a good fit for candidates located in or near Des Moines, Ames, Indianola, Perry, and surrounding Central Iowa communities. No prior industry experience is required. Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, management, business development, or other people-focused roles are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Meet with local business owners in person Build and maintain professional client relationships Conduct scheduled consultations and follow up with clients as needed Present services and solutions in a clear, professional manner Assist with client onboarding and ongoing account support Use basic CRM tools to track appointments, follow-ups, and client activity Participate in in-office training, coaching, and professional development What They're Looking For Strong communication and people skills Professional, reliable, and comfortable meeting with clients in person Self-motivated and open to coaching, training, and feedback Comfortable working in a performance-based environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to obtain required licensing or certifications Licensing is required; support is provided through the onboarding process.
