Our services include water and fire damage restoration, emergency mitigation, mold remediation, storm response, reconstruction, and large-loss recovery. Our approach goes beyond responding when something goes wrong. We work to build long-term partnerships with organizations so they have a trusted restoration and recovery resource in place before an emergency occurs. We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Account Manager to develop and manage key commercial accounts throughout the Post Falls, North Idaho, Spokane Valley, and the greater Lewis & Clark Valley. The Opportunity This is not simply a lead-generation or outside-sales position. The Account Manager is responsible for developing meaningful relationships with the economic buyers, decision-makers, facility leaders, risk professionals, property managers, and other stakeholders who influence how organizations prepare for and respond to property losses. The successful candidate will identify high-value commercial organizations, earn access to key decision-makers, understand their operational and property risks, and develop those relationships into long-term partnerships and commercial service agreements.The goal is simple:
make Disaster Response the trusted restoration and resilience partner for the organizations we serve. Key Responsibilities Key Account Development- Identify, pursue, and develop strategic commercial accounts throughout North Idaho and Eastern Washington.
- Build relationships with economic buyers and key stakeholders within target organizations.
- Develop a strong understanding of each account's facilities, operations, risks, decision-making structure, and emergency-response needs.
- Create account-development strategies for high-value prospects and existing customers.
- Maintain consistent contact with key accounts through meetings, site visits, business reviews, and relationship-development activities. Commercial Contracts & Partnerships
- Introduce and develop Master Service Agreements (MSAs), emergency-response agreements, and other commercial partnerships.
- Conduct facility walkthroughs and pre-loss planning discussions with prospective and existing clients.
- Position Disaster Response as a long-term resource for emergency restoration, mitigation, reconstruction, and catastrophe response.
- Work with customers to establish clear communication and escalation pathways before an emergency occurs.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships across multiple properties, facilities, departments, or locations. Relationship Management & Customer Satisfaction
- Serve as a trusted relationship manager for assigned key accounts.
- Maintain strong communication with customers before, during, and after restoration projects.
- Coordinate with Disaster Response operations and leadership to help ensure client expectations are understood and addressed.
- Conduct post-project follow-up with key customers and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
- Protect and grow existing relationships through consistent communication, accountability, and service. Business Development
- Build relationships within commercial property management, multifamily housing, healthcare, hospitality, education, government, industrial, and other strategic commercial markets.
- Develop referral relationships with insurance professionals, brokers, facility professionals, contractors, and other industry partners.
- Generate new opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, referrals, introductions, and strategic account development.
- Participate in industry organizations, community events, trade associations, and networking opportunities.
- Develop presentations, Lunch & Learns, facility walkthroughs, and other educational opportunities for customers and prospects. Sales & Account Management
- Maintain accurate account, opportunity, meeting, and relationship information within the company's Ai based CRM.
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified commercial opportunities.
- Identify the economic buyer and key stakeholders within strategic opportunities.
- Establish clear next steps and objectives for major accounts.
- Work collaboratively with branch leadership, operations, marketing, and production teams.
- Track account activity, opportunities, contracts, and revenue generated from assigned relationships. What Success Looks Like Success in this position is measured by more than the number of sales calls made. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate measurable progress in:

- Consistent CRM documentation and pipeline management Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a professional relationship builder who is comfortable walking into a commercial organization, understanding its business, and developing credibility with senior decision-makers.
- B2B sales, account management, business development, or commercial relationship-management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships with decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prospect strategically and develop new relationships independently.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate account information.
- Ability to understand customer business needs and translate them into long-term service relationships.
- Restoration, construction, insurance, property management, facilities, or commercial-services experience is beneficial but not required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned North Idaho/Eastern Washington territory.
