at AptarGroup, Inc. in Cary, Illinois, United States Job Description Join our team and Be You Be Aptar! Aptar is seeking an Account Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for for managing and growing business for Aptar Beauty, meeting unit, revenue, and sustainable profitability growth targets. You will drive growth within the client's business by identifying new opportunities within customer account and establishing business with new prospects within targeted application fields. You will work closely with Marketing and Business Development to grow sales of new technologies and new applications to support the Beauty strategic growth goals. As an Account Manager, you will: Manage accounts of specific beauty, personal care, and home care customers with an emphasis on aerosol products, applications, and packaging solutions. Expand onyour portfolio with atargeted list of prospective customersacrossstrategicapplication fields. Utilizationof overall salesmethodologyprocesses and tools;establishand maintaincustomercallobjectives. Continuallyimprove selling skills (i.e.formal training) andlearn newproductand technical knowledge. Develop an understanding of uniquecustomerenvironments(needs, problems, people, opportunities,etc), anddevelop a plan to improve penetration and value creation (using related Aptar tools). Promote Aptarin creating and sustaining our competitive advantage with your customers. Sell Aptar products to maximize profitability and increase market and customer share. Add valueforour customers withcreativity, service, and strong relationships. Leveragenewproductsto strengthen customer connections,increase profitability,and reduce competitivethreat. Develop meaningful relationships withkey customers and internal partners. Prepareandpresent quotationsand proposals,within our pricing structure,towin new business and drive growth. Proactively involve the necessary internal resources to effectively manage your business. Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to understandand target keyapplication fields. Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers where sales exceed $1 million annually. Stay knowledgeableofcompetition. Make our responsiveness a competitive advantage. Meet or exceed budget for defined sales (quantity,revenue, sustainable profit).
Who we are looking for:
Education College or University Degree, concentration in Business or Engineering preferred.
Preferred:
MBAor comparable degree. Experience Minimum 3 to 5yearsofAccountManagement, Marketing, or relatedexperiencepreferably in the Primary Packaging or Plastic Dispensing Solutions market.

Aerosol packaging knowledge is a plus. Skills Results oriented driver of commercial initiatives that support growth strategies. Demonstrated ability to achieve sustained results and drive new business opportunities. Relationship development capability Strategic thinker, able to develop creative solutions to address customer/market needs and challenges. Knowledge of Beauty + Home markets preferred. Effective time management skills and ability tooperateeffectively in remotesetting(home office based) -self-motivated. Basic technicalproficiencyand capability to understand relevant technology and recognize how these can be applied to generate more effective and efficient customer engagement. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Naturally curious. Travel Requirements Frequentdomestic travel is expected for this position.
