Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organized Portfolio Manager to oversee customer accounts, collections activity, and portfolio performance for our automotive finance operation. This role is responsible for maintaining strong customer communication, managing receivables, and supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate is confident communicating with customers, detail-oriented, and able to balance customer service with accountability in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Collections Manage customer accounts and follow up on past-due balances Communicate with customers by phone, text, email, and in person regarding payments and account status Work with customers to establish payment arrangements when appropriate Monitor delinquency and maintain consistent follow-up efforts Document all customer communication and account activity accurately Customer Service Provide professional and respectful customer support Accept and process customer payments accurately Answer inbound calls and assist customers with account questions Help maintain positive customer relationships while enforcing company policies Administrative & Office Support Post payments and assist with balancing daily transactions Maintain accurate account notes and reporting documentation Assist with paperwork, filing, and general office responsibilities Support team members with operational and administrative tasks as needed Portfolio Oversight Monitor account trends and follow-up schedules Assist with recovery and repossession coordination when necessary Help maintain accurate reporting and account management processes Work closely with management to support portfolio performance goals Qualifications Previous collections, customer service, or account management experience preferred Automotive, finance, or dealership experience is a plus Strong communication and negotiation skills Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask Comfortable handling difficult conversations professionally Basic computer and data entry skills required What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure Dependable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented Team player with strong follow-through skills Someone who can balance customer care with accountability Why Join Our Team?
