Job Description Summary:
As a member of a dynamic sales team, the sales professional is responsible for developing new business while maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships with small and medium-sized customers in rural markets. Provides face-to-face customer contact in an assigned market-based geographic territory to achieve personal and company sales goals.
Essential Functions:
Develops new business and grows revenue by identifying potential new customers, conducting background research on potential customers, discussing the customer's supply chain with decision makers and other appropriate customer representatives, analyzing customer needs, and developing and implementing solutions. Maintains existing business by developing an understanding of the customer's business and supply chain through research and customer interaction, analyzing customer needs and developing and implementing solutions. Coordinates and collaborates with internal teams, such as sales counterparts and operations as well as other internal partners to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience. Regularly engages face-to-face with top 20-30 revenue customers in territory to ensure customer understanding of service offerings and to maximize customer utilization of products and services. Takes initiative to lead internal teams and demonstrates organization, discipline, and adaptability to retain the highest revenue customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Domicile/Location:
This position may be located in Bowling Green, Kentucky; Owensboro, Kentucky; Shepherdsville, Kentucky; or Evansville, Indiana and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius of one of these cities to manage the assigned territory.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent (Equivalency reflected under minimum experience). Minimum Experience (in lieu of bachelor's degree): Four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience or two (2) years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Customer account management or relationship management experience Experience onboarding new customers, clients, or accounts Success growing existing customer relationships or revenue CRM and account planning experience Cross-functional collaboration to support customer success
Job Conditions:
70% Travel with some overnight required.
