Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Associate Renewal Account Manager to own and execute the renewal strategy for a portfolio of existing customers. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for transactional activities, exercise commercial judgment in managing customer negotiations, coordinate cross-functional resources, and drive revenue retention outcomes. This position directly impacts Rapid7's recurring revenue growth and long-term customer success. About the Team Our team is dedicated to driving customer retention and scaling Rapid7's recurring revenue through strategic account management and cross-functional execution. We partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, and Finance to deliver an exceptional renewal experience that aligns customer goals with company objectives. About the Role As an Associate Renewal Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to own and execute the renewal strategy and lifecycle for assigned accounts. Specifically, your focus will be to: Develop proactive renewal plans for assigned customers while identifying risk and expansion opportunities. Manage and execute the full renewal lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate contract completion. Negotiate terms, coordinate approvals, and resolve customer or partner issues impacting renewal execution. Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts regarding renewals, upsells, and pricing guidance. Conduct renewal review calls and provide consultative recommendations based on customer budgets and usage trends. Analyze account performance data to deliver accurate renewal forecasts leveraging Salesforce, Clari, and internal tools. Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Sales and Customer Success teams. Participate in team initiatives and collaborate with leadership to refine renewal playbooks and best practices. The skills and qualities you'll bring include: Bring 1+ year(s) of experience in SaaS renewals or account management with a track record of meeting retention targets. Hold self and others responsible for driving outcomes and meeting commitments that deliver value for the business and customers. Think big and act small by breaking larger retention goals into smaller components, executing quickly, and assessing progress to achieve outcomes. Make efficient decisions that resolve challenges, enable momentum, and integrate diverse perspectives during complex negotiations. Communicate in a clear manner that conveys objectives and rationale to foster commitment from executives and procurement stakeholders. Demonstrate proficiency with Salesforce, Clari, or other CRM systems alongside strong analytical forecasting abilities. Show strong commercial acumen, initiative, and independence in managing a portfolio of SaaS accounts. Leverage background in cybersecurity or the technology industry to understand complex customer environments. The annual salary range for this role, depending on location, is:

$59,500.00 - 80,500.00 USD Annual Salary ranges may vary based on geographical location. This range does not include variable/incentive compensation, equity and benefits (where applicable/eligible).
