Job Description
Account Development Representatives initiate and manage relationships with customers and serve as the point of contact for the Company. This position is responsible for coordinating selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with the target account list. This includes face to face calls with key customers, phone calls, and executing targeted selling events. The Account Development Representative is responsible for identifying target accounts by partnering with Sales Representatives on sales calls to help identify ways to deepen business relationships. Heavy prospecting is key in this position and the incumbent will be expected to add new accounts to the target account list and log all contacts and calls with target accounts. This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans. Coordinate selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with the Target Account list. - In-Sight! Phone Contacts.- Organize and execute targeted selling events. Develop a strategy to grow sales and profits to key, opportunity, new and existing customersEffectively build relationships with customers by understanding and supporting their businessConduct product demonstrations to support solutions for the customerDevelop working relationships with stores to achieve business goalsGenerate leadsHelp determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiationsPrepare weekly and monthly reports as requiredGive sales presentations to a range of prospective clientsCoordinate sales efforts with marketing programsUnderstand and promote company programsPrepare and submit sales contracts for ordersVisit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and servicesMaintain client recordsAnswer client questions about terms, products, prices, and availability
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have a valid, unrestricted driver's licenseHigh school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)Must have at least one (1) year of experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service positionMust be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodationMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionPreferred Qualifications:
