Job Description

Position Summary The Senior Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing Global Tier 1 accounts, with a primary focus on customers and business opportunities in Mexico. This role leads account management, pricing negotiations, sales strategy, and new business development while working closely with global and local teams to provide solutions that meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities Manage and strengthen relationships with assigned Global Tier 1 accounts. Serve as the primary local point of contact for customers. Identify customer needs and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and other internal teams. Develop short- and long-term account growth strategies with the Global Key Account Manager. Lead pricing discussions, quotations, contract-related activities, and annual price negotiations. Monitor sales performance, market trends, customer programs, and account profitability. Prepare monthly sales, pipeline, and account-performance reports. Proactively identify and pursue new customers and business opportunities, particularly in Mexico. Build and manage a new-business pipeline using CRM. Lead customer presentations, product introductions, and technical discussions. Support the onboarding and continued growth of newly acquired accounts. Mentor junior sales staff and share product and market knowledge. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of sales or account-management experience. Extensive knowledge of connectors and related markets. Established industry relationships and a strong professional reputation. Proven ability to develop and close new business. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports and projections. Proficiency with computers and CRM systems. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish skills. Experience in the automotive or industrial connector market. SAP knowledge. Advanced CRM and presentation skills. Working Conditions and Travel The first two months will be based in the Michigan office for training. Frequent travel to the Michigan office will be required during the first year. Travel may be required up to 25%. This is a hybrid office-based position. Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. may be required.
