This position must have experience in Cut/Sew/Lamination. The Account manager is the lead point of contact for all commercial aspects of our business portfolio. Responsibilities consist of customer relationship management, developing and quoting new business, maintaining current book while supporting cross-functional teams to achieve strategic partnerships with our customers. Ability to Travel Domestically/Internationally up to 30%.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop new customers - Growth is key for this role Maintain and grow business relationship within customer organization Relationship focus on purchasing and engineering departments to ensure our products are the strong fit and incorporated into design Understanding the customers markets, issues, needs and direction so we can grow with customer while creating a strategic partnership Facilitate cross functional team relationships between Fisher and customer Lead quoting for RFI's, RFQ's, ECR's and other customer requests for new and current business Create and present all quote documents both internally and externally Review and challenge business cases for correct inputs and improved cost/processes Ability to cost ECR's without utilizing internal cost department Manage program profitability and cash flow Analyze / approve customer PO's Cash collections - Tooling, Commercial Claims, other A/R past due items Represent the customer inside Fisher while also being the voice of Fisher to the customer Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant subject matter (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Finance) Experience Must have at least 5 years of successful sales/purchasing experience Experience in lamination, cut & sew in the automotive seating industry required Skills Excellent problem solving Critical Thinking Understanding of the 3 financial statements and how they are all related Provide recommendations on open issues, ECR's, new business, and current business quoting through facts, data and analysis Must have proven record of cultivating long term profitable relationships with customers Strong communication skills both internally and externally Work Environment Working environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of an office setting and manufacturing environment. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
