Job Description

Job Summary Effectively manages assigned key accounts including all aspects of client interaction with Priority Health. Strategic relationship building imperative in this position. Essential Functions Renewal Strategizing•
Group Retention:
Personally manage all aspects of key accounts assigned. These key accounts require extensive strategic, proactive consultative management including rate renewal strategy, benefit consulting, relationship building, problem solving, data analysis, and solution implementation. Some accounts may include multiple products, services and challenges outside the realm of most other accounts. Engage clients and Priority Health key personnel to demonstrate value of Priority Health and build strategic alliances with clients. Implement follow-up evaluation tools to assure high levels of satisfaction. Membership Growth•
Contract Retention:
Work with Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for each account consistent with organization's mission. Main objective is to retain and increase membership, build strategic alliances with key accounts and improve service to clients and agents. Develop business relationships with executives at Key Accounts to provide value to clients in areas other than benefit options. Report opportunities, challenges and activity for each account quarterly to Manager. Internal Participation in Leadership•
Teamwork:
Represent interests of and perspective of clients in Management Team meetings and planning sessions. Strategize issues and opportunities with other Priority Health Management to incorporate client perspective in Priority Health's Goals and objectives. Participate in other internal Priority Health Committees to help achieve company and client goals where appropriate.
Professional and Personal Development:
Stimulate and develop sales and service teams with strategies utilized on key accounts to initiate service improvements and new sales techniques. Role model effective account management to stimulate improvement in overall account management strategies. Participate in improving the level of sophistication in our employer and agent communications to better differentiate Priority Health from the competitive market. Attend professional conferences as needed and when approved in advance by Client Services Senior Management. Attend continuing education classes in order to maintain active Life and Health agent licenses. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a health related field 5 years of relevant experience LIC-Michigan Health & Life Insurance License
  • STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Preferred Master's Degree Excellent knowledge of managed health-care industry.
