Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and credit card payments accurately. Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, benefits, and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally using effective communication skills. Demonstrate basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail sales processes is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
