Job Description

Who We Are:
Direct Connect Transport Inc. is looking for someone who wants not just a job, but a career. We are a third party logistics company and one of the fastest growing freight brokerage firms in the upper Midwest. We are the middleman between a client shipping freight and the carrier that transports the haul.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and contact potential customers (Sales leads provided) Present and sell company services to new and existing customers throughout the country Daily management and coordination of shipment between shipping clients and transport carriers Build and manage shipper and transport carrier (trucking) relationships Build your Own Book of Business Track, trace all shipment and check on delivery statuses Ability to set Sales goals and attain them Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Qualifications:
Experience in the transportation field or prior phone or sales experience is helpful however we are looking to train the right individual! Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail Ability to build rapport and relationships with clients Strong negotiation skills Familiarity with CRM platforms
