Responsibilities:
This is not an entry-level sales position. We're looking for an established seed and crop input sales professional to serve as the primary MFA contact for a select group of key accounts in the Centralia, MO trade area, with a focus on corn and soybean sales. You'll spend approximately 80% of your time in-territory, growing and defending a customer relationship base, and bringing forward solutions that strengthen both the customer's operation and MFA's position in the market. What You'll Do Own and grow relationships with a defined group of key grower accounts in the Centralia trade area Serve as the primary point of contact for seed and crop input needs, with a focus on corn and soybean sales Develop and defend market share against competitors in the territory Bring forward tailored solutions that support the customer's operation and MFA's product and service offerings Represent MFA's sales and customer intimacy goals in accordance with company policy Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health and Wellness Incentives Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Prescription Insurance 401k with Company Match Retirement Plan PTO on Day 1 9 Paid Holidays Employee Referral Program Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) Educational Assistance Qualifications 4+ years of proven seed or crop input sales experience — this is required, not preferred Existing relationships with growers and/or a track record of sales success in the Centralia, MO trade area strongly preferred Must currently live in, within easy commuting distance of, or be willing to relocate to the Centralia, MO area, — this role is eligible for relocation assistance Working knowledge of corn and soybean seed genetics and agronomic recommendations A demonstrated track record of growing or retaining a customer account book in a competitive ag input market Strong sales negotiation and account management skills Apply If You desire to thrive in agriculture and seek a key role in the industry.
