Amherst, NH Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $120,000 a year 18 hours ago Qualifications Statistics Communication with suppliers Customer communication Microsoft Outlook Customer returns handling Spreadsheets Account development High school diploma or GED Driver's License Vendor communication Full Job Description Position Summary The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will work closely with Territory Sales Manager to maintain existing customer relationships in efforts to maintain their partnership with NOVO. The TAM will be expected to drive the sales process resulting in positive sales and marginal results. The Territory Account Manager is a bridge position to advance from assisting multiple accounts and territories with the expectation of transitioning to Territory Sales Manager. Essential Responsibilities Develops existing and new sales approaches to grow and develop sales accounts to increase sales within their territory alongside the Territory Sales Manager and Inside Account Manager. Works alongside the Territory Sales Manager to meet and exceed customer satisfaction for sales targets; achieving maximum sales in assigned sales territories. Follows established company procedures for placing customer orders and adhering to pricing guidelines; recommends changes when necessary to achieve overall company goals. Informs purchasing department of large upcoming sales and/or out-of-stock concerns in a timely manner and works to resolve customers' concerns in a timely and amicable manner. Reports any necessary market intelligence on pricing and/or customer needs/special requests to Inside Account Manager and Territory Sales Managers. Develops effective and collaborative working relationships with other Company Departments, Vendors, and Customers. Works to attain monthly budgeted sales goals as well as the projection of customer sales and gross margins. Ability to properly process credits/returns, following up on any not fully shipped product, working to collect any overdue receivables. Ensures all necessary paperwork is complete and company directed processes are accurately adhered to. Actively attends and participates in sales meetings, product and service training, seminars, and trade shows; joining lumber/building material associations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications (Required) High School Diploma or GED. Previous sales experience with successful achievement of increasing revenue through current customers and developing new customer base. Valid un-restricted driver's license (other than for vision correction) with proven good driving record. Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent research, statistical, and decision-making skills with ability to navigate the internet to retrieve necessary data. Capacity to communicate efficiently with all levels of employees, management, customers, and vendors both verbally and in written form. Demonstratable ability meet deadlines accurately while prioritizing tasks. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or comparable area of study is preferred. Effective English and Spanish communication skills, both oral and written preferred Travel Requirements Regular local travel within assigned territory; overnight travel may be required.
