Category Sales Type Full-Time (FT) Overview Milton CAT is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Strategic Account Representative to oversee and manage long-term service relationships for key accounts across our power systems portfolio. This role combines the technical oversight and customer engagement responsibilities of our Long-Term Service Agreement programs and Job Site Solutions. The Strategic Account Representative will act as the sole owner of performance, service coordination, and financial health for each enrolled asset and site. They will manage the full lifecycle of repairs and overhauls, serve as the primary customer liaison for all asset-related issues, and collaborate with Caterpillar and internal Milton CAT departments to ensure exceptional service delivery and contract execution.
Salary Range:
Base range $60k - 75K, plus bonus. Company vehicle, computer and cell phone provided. Responsibilities Own the performance, uptime, and financial health of all assets enrolled under strategic accounts
Manage repair and overhaul cycles for Prime, Standby, and Industrial engines and components
Serve as the primary customer contact for all asset and site-related issues
Coordinate, oversee and document all service work, including scheduling, dispatching, and execution
Monitor asset condition and performance using CAT and Milton CAT diagnostic tools
Develop and implement action plans to prevent failures and optimize equipment life
Conduct regular customer meetings (weekly calls, quarterly site visits) to review performance, service actions, and opportunities
Manage contract profitability and ensure gross margin targets are met
Schedule and manage services such as fuel polishing, switchgear replacement, load bank testing, transfer switch testing, and generator testing
Be available for emergency response coordination on a rotating basis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
3-5 years of experience in power systems, generator service, or asset management
Strong mechanical, technical and analytical problem solving skills
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
Proven ability to manage complex service contracts and technical projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
