Job Description

Eastern Drayage is a leading drayage provider with assets and terminals in most of the major ports and rail yards across the US. We service many of the JOC top importers as we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in the international drayage/logistics industry. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing complex transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of containers. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, have the ability to problem solve, multi-task, and be a great team player. Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their specific needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Responsibilities:
Ensure client satisfaction, standard SOPs are being followed Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the timely and efficient movement of containers in and out of the ports Ensuring drivers are tracked for on-time delivery Provide excellent customer service through phone call and email communications with clients and operations teams Detailed forecasting of shipments from vessel arrival at the port to complement of shipment Ensuring client's portals with EDI/API are updated constantly Tracking and tracing container shipments via terminal portal General office and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics/trucking, with a focus on container drayage and port operations Strong understanding of port operations, terminal procedures, and transportation logistics Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
