Account Recovery Specialist

Account Recovery Specialist High performers routinely exceed $65k+ with uncapped commission! Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm / Enjoy your nights and weekends! Paid training provided—no prior collections experience required. We are seeking a motivated, assertive, and professional Account Recovery Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage an assigned queue of delinquent accounts, contact consumers by phone, negotiate payment arrangements, and document all activity with accuracy and compliance. What You'll Do Make inbound/outbound calls on past‑due accounts Negotiate payment plans & settlements Skip trace when needed Update notes in collections software Explain balances & repayment options Meet daily/weekly/monthly goals Follow all FDCPA & compliance rules Flag accounts for potential legal action Qualifications Previous collections, call‑center, or customer service experience preferred (not required) Strong communication and negotiation skills Comfortable working with call quotas and performance metrics Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while on the phone Reliable, coachable, and goal‑oriented About Us McCarthy, Burgess, and Wolff (MBW) are a national leader in third-party collections with 30+ years of industry experience.
