GENERAL SUMMARY
This role works closely with Agents and Account Managers and functions as an assistant while delegating more complex tasks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, coworkers, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations. Provide clerical support, including scanning, filing, and handling correspondence as needed. Process routine account-related tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and policy updates. Communicate with internal team members and insurance carriers to ensure timely processing of documentation and client requests. Support Account Managers with special projects or tasks as assigned. Participate in training programs to develop insurance knowledge, customer service skills, and account management capabilities. Attends industry related continuing education training and courses. Performs other related duties as assigned which may be necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Exceptional verbal written communication skills. Ability to manage account related projects. Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in typing and data entry. Ability to manage duties and meet deadlines with limited supervision. Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail
EDUCATION, LICENSES AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred. Valid Drivers License required. Experience in a Commercial P&C Insurance Agency preferred. Must have a current Oklahoma P&C Insurance License. Outgoing, goal driven, and detail orientated.
