Job Description

Position Summary The Account Manager is a tactical sales role responsible for driving revenue growth exclusively through Kiski Precision's existing customer base. Success is built on cultivating deep, trust-based partnerships, making this role the customer's primary point of contact and essential advocate. The Account Manager serves as the direct conduit into all services Kiski Precision offers, requiring sufficient application knowledge, an ability to manage multiple high-priority requirements, and the skill to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Benefits for full time employees Competitive pay with annual wage evaluations Continuous performance feedback Profit sharing program 401(k) including up to a 4% match Health, dental and vision insurance Minimum 3 weeks of PTO 10 paid holidays per year Essential Functions Build trust with customers through integrity and a commitment to their success Accountable for execution to ensure revenue generation objectives are achieved Meet with customers regularly to ensure proper understanding of applications and opportunities along with the delivery of quotes and sales proposals; occasional travel is expected Work closely with the Business Development Manager to ensure a smooth transition of new accounts Manage and direct all account opportunities in the sales funnel until they are converted into orders ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and customer success Assist in designing and implementing processes within the sales team to ensure delivery of a world-class customer experience Monitor all opportunities for next action and ensure timely completion Partner with the Estimating and Manufacturing teams to ensure opportunities are converted into orders Collaborate with team members and management to achieve collective results that align with corporate objectives Additional Duties Track and report on opportunities lost Attend tradeshows Host onsite customer visits Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes As assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong proactive approach to selling Calculated risk-taking ability Passion for self-development Effective presentation skills; able to clearly communicate with people at all levels of the organization and with customers/prospects; excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical specifications and drawings at a detailed level Sufficient understanding of spreadsheet-type math and applications such as ERP systems Strong understanding of contract manufacturing processes and capabilities Skilled at listening Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a technical discipline or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in business from an accredited college or university is required with a Masters degree preferred Technical degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics), preferred Minimum of five years in a technical field with business and/or commercial experience, required Required technical, business, or market experience in the manufacturing industry Work Conditions / Physical Requirements Work is generally performed in an office environment When not traveling; working from the office is expected May be required to sit for extended periods of time Domestic travel will be required The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
