Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for a relationship builder with experience in account management, customer success, or sales who enjoys working directly with clients, solving problems, and identifying opportunities to grow business. The Account Manager will support customers in construction, manufacturing, steel, lumber, and related industrial markets. Prior industry experience is a plus, but training will be provided for candidates who bring strong account management skills and a willingness to learn. This position offers a hybrid structure with time in the office and in the field, providing a strong balance of collaboration, customer interaction, and autonomy.   • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building and maintaining strong long-term relationships.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and proactive outreach.
  • Prepare quotes, support pricing discussions, coordinate contract renewals, and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
  • Partner with internal purchasing, logistics, customer service, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor account activity, track customer interactions, address concerns promptly, and maintain accurate account records.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed within the assigned territory. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation:
    $60,000 to $65,000 base salary per year, depending on experience.
  • Employment Type:
    Direct Hire.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Work Arrangement:
    Hybrid, with 2 days in office and 3 days in the field.
  • Start Date:
    ASAP.
